Vinted Go Terms and Conditions for Delivery Services

1. General provisions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) describe the rules and conditions for the execution and use of the parcel delivery services as described below provided by Vinted Go, UAB, with registered office at Svitrigailos str. 13, 03228 Vilnius, Lithuania, registered under number 305959706 in the Register of Companies of the Republic of Lithuania (“VintedGo”).

In addition to these General Terms and Conditions, the relations between the parties are governed by the applicable mandatory legal provisions. In addition, the Recipient and the Sender are informed of the processing of their personal data in the Vinted Go Privacy Policy for Delivery Services.

If changes are made to the legislation and a provision of these General Conditions becomes partially or totally invalid, the other provisions of the General Conditions will remain in force.

2. Definitions

The terms used in the General Conditions are defined as follows:

Items means the goods contained in the Package subject to the provision of Delivery Services.

The Locker is a device located at a fixed location, which receives Parcels from the Sender and delivers them to the Recipient.

The VintedGo Center (“City Hub”) is a permanent location of VintedGo activity where Parcels collected at Drop-off and Collection Points are temporarily directed to be sorted and shipped later and where the requested Parcel can be delivered when the Parcel is not collected at the destination location.

The Customer is a legal entity that orders Delivery Services from VintedGo and allows the purchase of Labels directly through its online software.

The PIN Code is a combination of numbers and letters contained in the Parcel Arrival Notification, which opens the door of the Locker cabinet containing the Parcel.

Parcel is an Item identified by the Label and sent in the final format in which it is to be transported as part of the Delivery Services.

The Recipient is the person to whom the Package is to be delivered.

The Label is a document that is attached to the Package, and which contains information on the destination of the Collection Point, the country and the code of the recovery warehouse.

The Sender is the person responsible for the contents of the Package, and in whose name and on whose behalf the Package is transferred to VintedGo for delivery to the Recipient.

A case of Force Majeure is an event beyond the control of VintedGo, which could not reasonably have been foreseen at the time of conclusion of the contract, the effects of which cannot be avoided by appropriate measures, and which prevents VintedGo from performing its obligations.

Business Days under these Terms and Conditions are all days of the week except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Parcel Arrival Notification is a notification sent to the Recipient upon arrival of the Parcel. Parcel Arrival Notification is sent to the Recipient's mobile phone number and/or email address and/or relevant mobile application account.

Drop-off and Collection Point means the network of Vinted Go Lockers, Relays, Neighbouring Points, and Parcel Centers to which the Sender can send the Parcel (Drop-off Point), and from which the Recipient can collect the parcel (Collection Point), as the case may be.

Vinted Go Relay means the parcel drop-off and collection points operated by third parties with whom Vinted Go has entered into an agreement in order to ensure Delivery for the Customer, under the terms and conditions defined in these general conditions.

Vinted Go Neighbouring point means the individual parcel drop-off and collection points operated by the third party with whom Vinted Go has entered into an agreement in order to ensure Delivery for the Customer, under the terms and conditions defined in these general conditions.

Delivery Services are all Parcel transport services provided by VintedGo, which allow the Sender to send the Parcel through the network of Drop-off and Collection Points (including Lockers, Vinted Go Relay, Vinted Go Neighbour and Parcel Centers, and any other point type that VintedGo may implement in the future) to the destination selected by the Recipient.

Parcel Center(s) means a store dedicated to the drop-off and collection of Parcels and additional value added services, where Customers can drop off and pick up their Parcels, to the extent that that service is available and chosen by the Customer, and under the terms and conditions defined in these general conditions.

Size XS is the size on which postage is calculated, and has maximum dimensions of H: 80mm x W: 175mm x D: 380mm, but must not be less than the following minimum dimensions: H: 10mm x W: 90mm x D: 130mm with an actual weight not exceeding 15kg.

Size S is the size on which postage is calculated, and has maximum dimensions of H: 80mm x W: 300mm x D: 380mm, with an actual weight not exceeding 15kg.

Size M is the size on which postage is calculated, and has maximum dimensions of H: 180mm x W: 300mm x D: 380mm, with an actual weight not exceeding 15kg.

3. Terms of Service

3.1. By using the Delivery Services, the Sender and the Recipient expressly accept these General Conditions and their application to the Delivery Services.

3.2. Delivery Services may only be provided to Senders who have ordered the Delivery Services through the Customer.

3.3. When using the Delivery Services, the Sender must comply with these General Conditions and the rules relating to packaging as indicated in article 4.1.

4. Packaging, Dimension and Prohibited Items Conditions

4.1. The Sender must properly pack the Item and choose the appropriate packaging for the Parcel, either size XS, S or M, following the packaging and labeling rules indicated below:

4.1.1. The dimensions and weight of the Package must comply with the following limitations: the sizes and weights of the Package must not exceed the sizes and dimensions XS, S, and M as specified in Article 2.

4.1.2. Packaging suitable for size: To prevent the item from moving inside the Package and being damaged during transport, the packaging selected must be suitable for the size of the Item. Make sure that all empty spaces are filled and that the Item is securely fixed in place.

4.1.3. Sturdy Packaging: The Item must be packaged in a manner that will resist dirt, moisture and damage during transportation and handling – select sturdy packaging and ensure the Item is well packaged.

4.1.4. Well-sealed packaging: The selected packaging must be properly sealed and secured to prevent any tearing or opening during transportation and handling.

4.1.5. Properly labelled packaging: The selected packaging must be large enough to affix an A6 label to a flat surface, the barcode must be easily readable and must not be covered by tape or other parts of the packaging. If reusing a shipping box or bag, ensure that the old barcodes have been properly removed.

4.1.6. Shipping Fragile Items: Take extra care when shipping fragile Items - ensure the Item is securely packed in the shipping package/bag to avoid damage during transit and handling.

4.2. The Sender accepts full responsibility for the proper packaging of the Parcel. The Sender accepts that in the event of non-compliance with the rules relating to the packaging, weight, size or content of the Parcels as specified in article 4.1, the Parcel will not be accepted at the Drop-off and Collection Point and may not be the subject of a Delivery. In this case the Sender and the Recipient will not be compensated for any direct or indirect loss or damage.

4.3. It is prohibited to place a Parcel in the Locker if its packaging must be crushed so that it can fit into the Locker cabinet designed for Parcels of the chosen size.

4.4. It is prohibited to send the following items:
  • narcotic and psychotropic substances;
  • explosive devices, firearms, military ammunition (including grenades, projectiles, ammunition, etc.), even if the above is deactivated and decontaminated, air rifles, all replicas and imitations of explosive devices or firearms, sharp objects without special packaging;
  • explosives (such as airbags), flammable, radioactive, poisonous, toxic, infectious, corrosive, oxidizing and other hazardous substances;
  • spontaneously flammable substances, substances which, on contact with water, release flammable gases, oxidizing agents, organic peroxides, toxic substances or infectious substances, radioactive materials, corrosive substances;
  • matches, lighters, magnets, lithium metal or lithium ion batteries or devices containing such batteries;
  • items bearing insulting or obscene inscriptions or images;
  • items whose importation and use are prohibited in the country of destination;
  • living animals, plants and biologically active substances;
  • perishable foodstuffs;
  • aerosols of all kinds;
  • other Articles whose sending is prohibited in accordance with French law;
  • coins, bank notes, checks or any bearer securities, traveler's checks, platinum, gold or silver, whether worked or not, precious stones, jewelry and other valuable objects may only be sent by valued shipments and only to countries in which these items are admitted;
  • frost-sensitive materials;
  • packages or materials which, due to their nature or packaging, may contaminate or damage other shipments or handling equipment;
  • it is prohibited to send products in aerosol containers;
  • other substances and articles that are dangerous or do not comply with applicable laws.


4.5. The Sender accepts full responsibility for the contents of the Parcel sent, its compliance with these General Conditions and the law, and must compensate VintedGo for all costs and expenses incurred by VintedGo related to the delivery of a Parcel violating the provisions relating to Prohibited Items (including all fines imposed on VintedGo).

4.6. At any time during the delivery of the Package, after determining that the Package contains Prohibited Items, VintedGo will have the right to seek reimbursement of its costs or compensation for its damages, and may take the following actions:

4.6.1. destroy the Package;

4.6.2. carry out other actions which are necessary to reduce (eliminate) the risk associated with the contents of the delivered Package.

4.7 VintedGo will not accept responsibility and will not be liable in connection with the transportation or storage of Prohibited Items and will not be liable for Packages that contain Prohibited Items as described in these Terms and Conditions.

5. Delivery and return of the Package

5.1. The Sender may choose to print the Label at home or at the Drop-off and Collection Point where this service is available, by following the instructions provided.

5.2. The Sender, before handing over the Package for Delivery, must affix the Label to the Package. The Label must be correctly attached, legible, undamaged and not covered by the packaging.

5.3. VintedGo will make every effort to ensure that Parcels are delivered to the Collection Point within 3 (three) to 6 (six) Business Days from the time they are deposited at the Drop-off Point.

5.4. The Parcel belongs to the Sender, who is responsible for the contents of the Parcel, until the Parcel is collected by the Recipient. When technically possible, VintedGo may provide tracking updates of the Parcel. These updates may be provided on a dedicated website or, at VintedGo's discretion, by other means.

5.5. The Parcel is considered delivered and transferred to the Recipient (or to the Sender if the Parcel is to be returned) at the moment the Reception PIN Code is entered on the Locker screen and when the Locker cabinet door opens, (in the case of a Locker Delivery), or at the moment the Parcel is confirmed as delivered in the Vinted Go system by the Vinted Go Relay, the Neighbouring point or the Parcel center.

5.6. When accepting the Parcel at the Collection Point (Locker, Vinted Go Relay, Neighbouring point or Parcel Center), the Recipient must check the condition of the Parcel. If the Parcel is damaged, the Recipient must remove the damaged Parcel, immediately take a photo and file a claim according to the process provided by the Customer. The Recipient cannot reopen the Locker or return the Parcel to the Vinted Go Relay, the Neighbouring point or the Parcel Center.

5.7. The Recipient is identified by the PIN Code sent to their mobile phone number and/or email address as soon as the Parcel is placed in the Locker. After entering the PIN Code, the Locker opens the door of the cabinet where the Parcel is located. In the case of Delivery to the Vinted Go Relay , the Neighbouring point or the Parcel Center, the Recipient must identify themselves to the Vinted Go Collection Point using the PIN Code communicated to them.

5.8. A new notification will be sent to the Recipient 3 (three) days after the arrival of the Parcel at the Collection Point.

5.9. The retention period for Parcels is 7 (seven) calendar days from the moment they are placed in the Collection Point. If, within 7 (seven) calendar days, the Parcel is not collected from the Collection Point, the Parcel will be returned to the Sender. The Parcel will be returned to the Drop-off Point initially used by the Sender to drop off the Parcel.

5.10. If the Sender does not collect the returned Parcel within 7 (seven) calendar days from the time it was dropped off at the Drop-off Point initially used by the Sender, the Parcel will be transferred to the VintedGo Center (“City Hub”) and stored for 15 (fifteen) calendar days, and the Sender will be informed by VintedGo. The Sender may collect the returned Parcel by contacting [email protected] to arrange for the Parcel to be collected from the VintedGo Center (“City Hub”). If the Sender does not collect the Parcel within 15 (fifteen) days, the Parcel will be considered abandoned and VintedGo will be considered the owner of the Parcel and its contents. VintedGo will have the right to fully dispose of the Parcels, including by way of donation to organizations of its choice.

5.11. The Parcel may be redirected to another Collection Point chosen by VintedGo if the Parcel does not fit in the Locker, if the initial Collection Point is full, not functional, or if it closes before the expiry of the Parcel's retention period as defined in Article 5.9.

6. Resolution of complaints and liability for damages

6.1. Within the limits provided for in Article 6.3, VintedGo will be liable to the Customer for any loss or material damage caused to a Package during its delivery or in the event of non-delivery, except:

6.1.1. in the event of any damage caused by temperature fluctuations;

6.1.2. for Packages containing Prohibited Items as indicated in the General Conditions;

6.1.3. in the event of inadequacy of the packaging selected by the Sender;

6.1.4. for Parcels seized in accordance with applicable law;

6.1.5. for returned Parcels that have not been collected by the Sender within 15 (fifteen) days from the day following the transfer of the Parcels to the VintedGo Center (“City Hub”), in accordance with article 5.10 of the General Conditions;

6.1.6. for loss or damage resulting from a case of Force Majeure.

6.2. VintedGo is responsible for the loss of the Parcel and damage to the Parcel from the moment the Parcel is dropped off by the Sender at the Drop-off Point until the delivery of the Parcel to the Recipient or the Sender (in case the Parcel has to be returned to the Sender).

6.3. In the event of loss of the Package or damage to the Package due to VintedGo, this loss or damage will be compensated on the basis of 23 (twenty-three) euros per kilogram of the Item, capped at the value of the Item and, in any event, within the absolute limit of 500 (five hundred) euros in total per Package.

6.4. Claims for lost and damaged Packages are addressed by the Customer to VintedGo.

6.5. Non-material damage, indirect damage, loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of turnover or damage to reputation are not compensated.

7. Inspection and storage rights

7.1. VintedGo has the right to open the Package to prevent possible physical danger to people or Items resulting from the Packages, and when required by law.

7.2. VintedGo is entitled to repackage the Parcel in the event of non-compliance with the rules prescribed in Article 4.1.

7.3. VintedGo will act in accordance with Article 5.10 of these General Conditions to manage Parcels that have been abandoned and the Items they contain.

8. Protection of personal data

8.1. Vinted Go Privacy Policy for Delivery Services describes the personal data collected by VintedGo and the purposes of the processing of such data by VintedGo in connection with the provision of the Locker Delivery Point Services. The Privacy Policy and no part thereof shall be deemed to be contractual clauses and shall not form part of these Terms and Conditions.

8.2. The Customer and the Recipient are responsible for providing accurate data to VintedGo. In the event of a change in the data, the Customer and/or the Recipient must notify VintedGo of these changes as soon as possible.

9. Modifications to the General Conditions

9.1. VintedGo may update these General Conditions if necessary.

9.2. Any changes to the laws and regulations referred to in the General Conditions will be directly applied.
